With the Ontario SPCA Pet Insurance Program, your pet is protected, for life. Our Coverage for Life program covers your pet for ALL* common illnesses and accidents.
Pets Protected. For Life
Some insurers only let you claim for a set amount or time period after which the specific condition is excluded from your policy. With the Ontario SPCA Pet Insurance Program, your pet is covered for life. You’ll have the freedom and flexibility to choose who treats your pet and what therapies they use. All you need to do is choose your level of coverage, from $1,000 per year to Unlimited, and the rest is easy. Their medical conditions won’t get excluded and your ongoing claims will get paid – year after year if coverage in force continues uninterrupted.
When Coverage Begins
You’ll begin with a yearly insurance limit to look after your pet (from $1,000/year to Unlimited). X-rays, hospitalization, surgery and prescriptions are all eligible. At the start of the 2nd year after you’ve renewed, your insurance limit renews – giving you the full amount of coverage, year after year, for the lifetime of your pet. All you have to do is renew your policy each year.

A Wellness Plan – for your pet
Wellness for your pet can be more than a run in the park or a vet-approved diet. It can also be annual physical exams, teeth cleaning, testing for specific conditions and much more. With our Wellness Plan - available with our Unlimited Coverage option, you can add preventative care to your pet’s life. Your veterinarian and you will have a wide range of options to keep your pet happy and healthy, especially as they get older.
